After spending the last six months 'living' in the back of a transit van through one of the coldest UK winters in Decades. No electricity, no computer (did I miss much?) no toilet, no windows. SWB Low roof.

Insulation was silver foil, carpets foraged from skips. bed made of old pallets. Two ring gas bottle heater. Candles and lamps. Quite an experience. Temporary low paid work, at most 3 days a week spread across 8 towns in a 250 mile radius. 8000K driven. Raw food and vegetarian diet.

Outcome: Fit and healthy.

Now living with terminally ill parents and have access to a laptop so I'll be monitoring the blog again.

Any new blogs please leave a comment

I'm going to start informing readers of new blogs added and removed as it's hard to keep track. Recently added:

http://noisyroom.net/blog/ written by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton, a Libertarian and http://stallman.org/ who I came across through watching Keiser. Also:

http://armedlaughing.wordpress.com/ which was a tip-off  from armedlaughing (many thanks) and the following from CapitalistPig (many thanks)

http://www.greatsataninc.com/
http://www.teamgunblogger.com/
http://www.exurbanleague.com/

Recently removed:

http://alejandrogarciastock.blogspot.co.uk/
http://www.tickbytick.co.uk/home/
http://wideawakenewsfeed.blogspot.co.uk/

Who all hit the 4 month 'no post' cut off.

Obviously Ican't add all blogs there's too many, just the ones I like, or that YOU like. Let me know any I should include in the comments below: (also should I stick posts at the top or the bottom?)

I know, it seems this site is almost asleep but it's not. I check this site daily and I'm constantly on the look out for new blogs and sites with an RSS feed. So if you have a site/blog or know of one that should be included then leave the URL in the comments below. This site was set up to track news and it does a pretty good job, I think. Many thanks to my followers, readers and those few blogs that have me on their reading list.

I've done another clear out of old blogs (about 25) that havn't posted in the last 3 months as well as adding some new ones. I wanted to ask readers about page loading times. I've killed some of the page count scripts and the globe to try and speed it up as there is alot to load. Any improvement?

Thanks to Scott Pluschau and Prepping to Survive for the page links :-)

Regards BBB

(I'll stick this post back at the bottom after a day or so)

I have been through the site and have removed any site/blog that hasn't posted in the last 3 months. Recent additions to the site include : The Flow of Value Blog. A gold centric blog found under the Bullion section and the cheerfully named 'The End of the World as we Know it' a Dutch based Blog with an emphasis on economics and gold, found in the New section. Both of which I just recently stumbled across. If anyone has any Blogs to add or idea's on improving the site please leave a comment. Thanks BBB

On Balance I think that abandoning posting in favour of a fifth RSS feed has worked out well with over 70 new sites added. As it stands now I can add to the Bullion and Bullets/Beans feeds as well as the New feed (The others are frozen). I wont post as there's simply no point in slowing the page loading time with 30  articles that invariably turn up on one of the hosted sites anyway. Again if you have a site/blog you want added leave a link in the comments section below.
